Starting her career in the Hospitality industry, learning how hotels work from the inside out, Julie Nelson had a springboard for life in the customer service and event planning industry After years in the hotel environment, Julie went onto freelancing to several different meeting planning companies around the US. During this journey Julie experienced meeting management in hundreds of cities throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and Europe. Along the way, Julie gained knowledge first hand on what she would bring to her own business and how she would execute with perfection.
Julie's experiences in this industry allow her to bring you Meeting Muse, a company that was created on pure passion and energy with the desire to partner with corporate clients and produce artful meetings, events and incentive trips that bring pride to your organization.
Julie is an active member of Meeting Planners International (MPI).
Bobbi Ann Burch has been in the field of planning and managing VIP events for years and has followed her passion with opportunities that finally brought her to the Meeting Muse team. Bobbi Ann's experience in the event arena prior to Meeting Muse was with Top Kick as an Event Planner and general Jill of all trades to Mr. Chuck Norris (Top Kick). Responsibilities with Top Kick included planning and executing creative rewards and incentives for the Walker, Texas Ranger cast and crew along with planning VIP events, Conference planning for Kick Start (Chuck Norris Non Profit), travel planner and ongoing VIP arrangements that are so abundant in the film industry.
Based on the fact that Bobbi Ann's responsibilities changed on a regular basis based on what was going on with Mr. Norris career she possesses the ability to go from one big thing to the next with grace and poise.
Go ahead and say it - Kai Ya! We all do, she is a good sport about it!
Beth is multi talented in the meeting and event planning industry. Coming from a corporate life of positions such as Sr. Hotel Sales Manager at the historic Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco and Associate Director of Sales and Marketing for the Westin Rio Mar Resort in Puerto Rico.
Needing a new challenge, Beth took her hospitality knowledge to the meeting and event planning side by going to work as Team Leader for Incentive Dimensions and later formed her own successful meeting and incentive company, INSITES, that catered to the High Tech Industry along with planning specialty events including Super Bowl, World Cup Soccer, Olympics and NBA Playoffs. Beths meeting and event planning experience has been worldwide to include Europe, Canada, Asia, South America and the US.
Beth has served in several board positions with Meeting Planners International (MPI).
Shannon Montgomery personifies the VIP service that is a hallmark of Meeting Muse. From George W. Bush to Snoop Dogg and from Bruce Jenner to Wilford Brimley, Shannon has delivered an outstanding experience for some of todays most relevant sports and entertainment figures.
Shannon has honed her craft at some of the most prestigious and well known hotels in the industry. From that cadre of experience she began a destination management division for a local meeting and special event company and later managed a Dallas based professional speaker and Olympian.
